Hello! I wanted to start off my first post with a little advice on one of my favorite things, thrifting.
Today, I took a quick trip to the Goodwill looking for anything and everything that I could refurbish for my home. You would be suprised what you can find in a thrift store with a little bit of imagination. My best advice for anyone looking to do the same is to make VERY frequent trips to all of the thrift stores in your area. Get on Google and search for a list of shops in your town. I usually stop by my three favorites every Monday or Tuesday (my days off) because this is the best way to make sure you aren't missing out on the good stuff! Most stores are restocking with new things everyday, so you never know when you will get lucky. Keep your eyes out for things that are sturdy and have nice shape whether it be home decor or furniture. Who cares if that brown and orange 70s looking table is a hideous color if it has nice shape?! The magic of paint and sanding can easily take care of that! Some of my favorite peices in my home are from thrift stores and I am proud of it :)
